Aleah Starts Dance Class

Aleah went to her first day of dance class. They are learning Ballet, Jazz and some Hip Hop. Last week was her first night. She goes with daddy to class and Blake and I hang out at Young Women's (church) activities. The first week was a lot of learning to get in line and following directions. She talks about class all of the time and cannot wait to go back. Secretly I hope that this dance stuff will help her to be a more agile athlete but we will let her choose when the time comes. However, we are not above brainwash in regards to volleyball, basketball and so forth.
Aren't these about the cutest shoes you have ever seen. Round and Round
What a little ham.

Miscellaneous September Pictures

Blake is 2 months old....
Isn't that just about the cutest thing you have ever seen. This was our little Blakey after his nightly crying spell. He must have really worn himself out because he looks so peaceful! Aleah is not so believable in the "peaceful" role. She decided that she would lay behind Blake and act like she was sleeping. As you can see by the smirk on her face she is not such a great actress.
Aleah telling mommy goodnight.
Enjoy the photo because this is one of the rare photos you will see of me on here! :)
The three amigos posing for mommy.
Our big guy just seems to keep growing and growing.
He has just about doubled in size since he was born!

Aleah decided to go out for one last swim before the weather got too bad. I think it took me more time to haul the hot water out to the pool than she actually spent swimming.
After we got our new washer and dryer and were able to stack them in the kitchen entrance, we were left with a gap near the kitchen table. So, we got a new little kitchen caddy with a nice granite surface on top. Aleah is helping dad put the top on and get it ready for mommy. She is Chad's right hand woman at all time when he gets home from work.

Ely Carnival

It looks like Aleah has a future as a Bus Driver. Right now she thinks she wants to be a "Shooter". I am not really what that will mean for her
Shooting with daddy. They almost shot out the etire star.

Studly daddy and Aleah in the giant spinning strawberry.

Aleah on the motorcycles!

I think they are so old that I rode the same ones when I was little.

Blake's Blessing Weekend

Aleah and Blake with Great Grandpa Fred and Great Grandma Margie. Grandpa Fred is their only living great grandpa, what a treat it was to get them together.
Our handsome little boy on his blessing day!

The Wheeler's came out for the blessing... Aleah loved snuggling with Aunt Britany and between her and Rascal they exhausted their dog Winston.

The entire Fisher family.

Our Trip to Arizona

We were terrible about taking pictures on our trip to Arizona. Most of them were inside and we did not take any pictures of our time with Chris and Tonna's family. Very sad!

This is a picture of the construction of Hoover/Boulder Dam. It is quite a sight to see as they are replacing the dam bridge and making a new bridge suspended high above the waterway. It is AMAZING and due to be finished some time in 2010. Chad and I took Jessenia and Aleah on a double decker carousel. Wow..... I did not realize how dizzy you can get on those things...

Blake on his temporary changing table AKA hotel bathroom counter.

We found a FREE horse at a convenience store along the way that Aleah fell in love with. She thought it was far better than riding in her car seat.

Aleah's 3rd Birthday

Time goes by so quickly, it does not seem like we have been parents for 3 years already. There is no other opportunity more rewarding, unpredictable, exhausting and joyful than being parents. It was totally worth the wait!

Aleah had a really nice birthday and really liked the concept of presents. She wraps up her toys in blankets pretty much on a daily basis and wished Chad and I "Happy Birthday". One thing I can say for her is that she is thoughtful because she is always looking for gifts she can give others.

You are never too old to make a mess with your birthday cake. Aleah's birthday breakfast complete with a Mickey Mouse pancake and a cup of juice in a Sponge Bob cup.

Here she is posing with her new Digital Camera around her neck and her Bubble Mower.

Aleah did not even make it past the living room before she decided that she needed to have "Happy Birthday to her". So, we did birthday festivities in PJ's.

I really did want to be creative with her cake but I guess I just don't have it in me. In the end, we settled on a pond of cammo ducks..... We have begun to plan for next year since she has already requested A "FISHY" cake.

Baby Blake

Our life seems to have taken many different twists and turns lately with a new baby in the house. If you stop in any morning around 2am, we are up and ready to party. However, around 4am we are back to sleep for another little cat nap. Becky (me) has been catching up on lots of "chic flicks" during our awake times. Maybe it will wear off on Blake and he will watch them with me when he gets older.....

Our little poser..... He loves to be wrapped in things that are soft and silky. Oh............. A great big stretch and kissy lips for the camera.
Chad found these pacifiers online and they are a real life saver. The pacifier is attached to a small stuffed animal which keeps the pacifier balanced even when he tougue thrusts it out. We love them!

These two are the best of friends. We can't imagine our lives without them!

We have soooo many pictures that it is hard to pick out our favorites!

Outdoor Activities

Aleah got to go out with grandpa in a trip around the lake in his boat. Here she is sitting at the wheel taking her job of steering them back to shore VERY seriously. Ok....... (DISCLAIMER) this picture came about because of daddy! Chad laid the doves out that he got hunting and Aleah played with them. She talked to them and even pets them. After they were all finished she and daddy also mopped the kitchen floor. :)

Aleah caught a trout! She thought this was fun for a few minutes but decided she would rather throw rocks in to the lake.
Another father-daughter moment. Even though it is adorable, I am not a fan of kissing the bird.
