Family Photos

We all love family photo time. These were taken in March.

Aleah is such a little charmer. We can't believe how big she is getting! For those of you who don't know, she is going to be a big sister in a few months (July 30th) and she is really excited. We found out it is a boy and we plan to name him Blake Evan. Anywhere we go she asks if boys are her brother. She also likes to lift up my shirt and give baby Blake kisses. We hope she will be equally as excited when the baby gets there.

I Am a Child of God

We caught Aleah singing a bit of I am a Child of God. She does know all of the words but gets a bit distracted. Unfortunately for all of us, I (Becky) am her back up singer. We hope she does not get my musical abilities.

Bath Time

Here we are in another bathroom scene. Aleah gets very distracted but we were able to pull a few vitals out of her in between backstrokes.

The Bubble Queen Ladies and Gentlemen!

Doesn't this look an America's Most Wanted photo from the 70's? Chad decided he did not want to shave until he got a turkey but he gave in today and shaved but said he was expressing his artistic self with this little number. We were so grateful when he shaved it all about an hour later.
Aleah found turkey tracks right in the road, right off from her left knee. She has no problem getting down in the dirt. WATER.... She is really good about actually getting in to the water but if we were to say go, she would be in there in a heartbeat. She likes to put sticks in the creek and watch them float down.
Roasting the hot dogs.

We went on a family turkey hunt. We didn't get a turkey but we had a lot of fun. We were just on the boundry of Great Basin National Park and found this nice little fire pit by the river. She sure loves to follow daddy around and do what he does.

Aleah had a hard time waiting for the fire to get ready so she started eating her hot dog right off the stick.

Chad decided to go for a hike and call turkey's so Aleah and I drove to the bottom of the hill and waited for him at the beaver ponds. We tried to throw rocks in to the pond but it was still frozen over so we mostly skipped them on the top.
It turned out to be kind of a sad day because another hunter came and shot a turkey right in this same area. Aleah kept telling it to "wake up".
Aleah had a little bit of trouble with her go-gurt. Rascal can't wait to lick whatever remains off of her face. She has a gift for finding ways to make messes. The two of them are giving their best dog poses. Sometimes Aleah announces that she is a dog and that we need to be cats. I think she may be watching too much Tom and Jerry.

The teacher in me can't be prouder when we find her reading books and pretending to read the words. We were even prouder this time to notice that she had the book right side up.......

Shower Time!

There is nothing Aleah loves better than being in the water. It is not uncommon for her to shower at home, take a bath at the sitters and still come home and shower before bed. We bought a slip and slide yesterday and she can't wait to go play on it. She thought yesterday would be a good day but we decided she ought to wait until the snow melts.
