Recent Events

We had a big week last week.

1. On Friday, Chad had Lasik Eye Surgery in Salt Lake. The whole process took about 4 hours but he was only in "surgery" for about 2 minutes. Everything went really well and he is very pleased to be seeing really well.

2. Aleah got to go to nursery on Sunday now that she was 18 months and one day old. There were not enough leaders in nursery so I got to stay the first hour. WOW! Nursery leaders and very unappreciated. : )

3. You will see in the next picture Aleah found time to help daddy replace our stove. She loves to be right in the action.

Aleah the "Big Helper"

We have decided that we only take pictures of Aleah so they seem to gobble up any posts that we may take.

Aleah has become quite a helper! She got a new potty and thinks she needs to sit on it for a minute or two whenever she get "naked". Look at her cute red cheeks when she gets out of the shower followed by PJ's and daddies hat!

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Smith and Sparky

Grandma and Grandpa Smith came to visit us in Ely. They brought their dog Sparky and Aleah fell in LOVE! Her favorite thing to do was drag the dog around in it's leash. Aleah was certainly sad to see her best pal leave. We really enjoyed out visit with grandma and grandpa. Chad and Grandma got to go to the big "Crab Crack" in town while Becky, Aleah and Grandpa went out to eat together. We even got Grandpa Smith hooked on the "Cow Game" on our WII.

Aleah decided to read mommy a book before church! It is a nice change of pace compared to all of the reading I get to do in my job! WE LOVE books at our house, especially books that have animals in them.
It's almost nap time!
Aleah is keeping a close eye on Sparky in case he may need her help!

Hey, I am resting here! Aleah is quite the poser!

How can you resist a smile like this. We love her smiles and she gets those rosey red cheeks when she gets tired or hot! Aleah has four top front teeth and one top back tooth, she has only two on the bottom. She tried to climb on everything she can find and in this case she is climbing on Daddy!

Here is my new dolly bed and baby doll. I love to play with my new dolls, brush their teeths and sometimes when they are "ba ba ba" I like to hit them with daddy's back scratcher! :) Mom and dad are a bit concerned about how she might be if she had a younger sibling.

We plan to begin to "BLOG on with our bad selves"

Thanks Tina for the gentle but firm reminder about keeping others informed about the events in our lives. We will include a few things that have taken place in our lives now and then work on updating it "routinely" as needed.
